Rakesh Roshan shared that whenever Rajesh Roshan composed songs, he would create multiple tunes for consideration. However, for Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai (2000), Rakesh Roshan felt an instant connection with the very first tune itself. He believed it perfectly suited the mood and narrative of the film, so there was hardly any need to explore further options. That instinctive choice later proved to be significant, as the film’s music became one of its strongest pillars. The audience especially loved the energetic and stylish dance sequences choreographed by Farah Khan. The songs were visually grand, youthful, and memorable, complementing the romantic storyline. The lyrics were written by Ibrahim Ashk, Sawan Kumar Tak, and Vijay Akela, adding emotional depth and poetic expression to the soundtra
