India's recurve archery champion Deepika Kumari speaks about her happiness. She says " I am so happy. Most important thing is that I am a girl. See generally boys come forward in most of the fields but these days girls are also trying to come forward and beat the boys. Competition was really tough even weather was not good at that time. Weather was very much windy so it was difficult to understand the windy situation during match. I was very much excited when I got the medal". Deepika Kumari is an Indian athlete who competes in the event of Archery, is currently ranked World No. 5, and is a former world number one. She won a gold medal in the 2010 Commonwealth games in the women's individual recurve event. She also won a gold medal in the same competition in the women's team recurve event
