Ride through this route during the day when you can appreciate the views and the landscapes. You can walk along the sides of the road to take pictures. It is pretty and different and it's a narrow one-way bitumen road which leads downhill through Phuntsoling in the south. It usually takes an hour to reach the Capital city - Thimphu from this destination. One second you're sandwiched between rock faces or trees then all of a sudden the sides open out with steep drops centimetres from the roadside. It definitely keeps you interested. The road is narrow and so for safety reasons, it is always better to wear a seatbelt. With the advance in the technology, Damchu-Chukha road opens to traffic and you would see the glimpse of the road that will only take one hour to reach the Thimphu valley. In
