Perfect timing! - Dhol Cholom presented at the Sangai Festival were we can see the perfect co-ordination between the performers as they play the drum as well as spinning together. One can say good timing. Drum is the soul of Manipuri folk dance, Dhol Çholom is a traditional dance of Manipur. It is one of the dynamic drum dance which is performed mainly during Holi, festival of Holi in spring is the real time for drum dance. The Sangai festival is an annual cultural festival organized by Manipur Tourism Department, and is generally held from November 21 to 30 each year. Even though many editions of this Festival have been celebrated over the past few years under the name of Tourism Festival, since 2010 is has been renamed as the Sangai Festival in honour of the shy and gentle Brow-antlere
