Born in Jaipur, India, Prateek grew up playing the guitar and training vocally in Indian classical music. His influences are eclectic and range from Nick Drake and Elliot Smith to Pearl Jam and Jimi Hendrix. After weaving through diverse musical genres he found a sense of direction after attending a jazz workshop in Prague where he began fusing different styles to reach his own unique sound. His heartfelt lyrics and the timbre of his resonant voice artfully capture life's everyday thoughts and experiences, while his tunes and rhythms wrap the words gently into song. His second release, an EP titled "Raat Raazi" released on the 18th of August 2013 to rave reviews resulting in Prateek being booked to play at all 4 editions of the Bacardi NH7 Weekender in 2013.
