This is Kali Badi or Maa Kali temple which is located din Sadar Bazaar, as we can see so many people are coming for worshipping here they light the lamp in front of Maa Kali. the ancient tradition of lighting oil lamps has special significance. In almost every Indian home an oil lamp lit daily before the altar of god and in some houses, it is lit at dawn, in some twice a day- in the dusk and in the dawn. Light symbolizes knowledge, and darkness, ignorance. The Lord is the “Knowledge Principle” (Chaitanya) who is the source, the enlivener and the illuminator of all knowledge. Hence light is worshipped as the Lord himself. The oil and the ghee in the lamp symbolize our vaasnas and negative tendencies and the wick, the ego. When lit by spiritual knowledge, the vaasnas get exhausted slowly and
