Devigarh Palace in Udaipur employee speaks: "Maharana Pratap's son made the palace in 1700's, Lekha Poddar restored the fort from being a khandar. It was originally planned as a museum and then a hotel. It was always a tourist hot-spot, not just because Liz Hurley got married here, to Arun Nair. This is Liz Hurley's favourite property. She has visited this property quite often. A film was shot here over the course of 45 days. It was amazing. Everyone enjoyed it a lot. Even the star cast enjoyed it. They loved the property and that is why they shot the entire film here. This was Mr. Vidhu Vinod Chopra's decision. He liked the location."
