Chandni Chowk, one of the busiest and most historic parts of Old Delhi. The wide street is filled with shoppers, workers, visitors, and cycle rickshaws moving through the market. People carrying bags and parcels can be seen heading between shops that have served customers for generations. The redeveloped roadway, with its red sandstone paving and tree-lined sections, offers a different look while still retaining the area's familiar energy. Despite the crowds, there is a steady rhythm to the movement of people and trade that has defined Chandni Chowk for centuries. In the distance, the walls of the Red Fort rise above the market, providing a reminder of the area's deep connection to Delhi's history.
