What a neo folksy Nepalese dance this is, set to a generic western synthesized ditty of The Farmer's In The Den. We are told this is the Kirat Rai tribe from eastern Nepal. Viewers - Tell us which Nepalese tribe and Nepali anchal region they are from, if they are not Kirat Rais! The tune is clearly 'The Farmer's In The Den'. Viewer Biswash Chamling Rai tells us that Sikkim's Kirati people extend eastwards from Nepal to India, especially into Sikkim, Darjeeling and Kalimpong. The dance and dress jas some variations because of the geographical boundaries. Sikkim is also the homeland of various Nepali communities, specially Kirati tribes who range from Eastern Nepal to Sikkim ...
