Hindu boys from the heartland set out from their jobs as farmers, and take on a more mob-like sinister hue as they undertake the Kavar Yatra, as kawarias, to fetch Ganga water from the town of Haridwar and walk back home with it, in the humid heat of the Indian monsoon. While they are really just having a good time, in a large group, they can easily turn into a mob if someone were to hit them on the highway or something were to go wrong. Meanwhile, they fool around with each other and behave like overall brats!
