Hindu devotees are seen with flower bouquets heading to the banks of the Ganges as part of the auspicious celebration of Kumbh Mela on the banks of the Ganges in Haridwar. Devotees are mostly seen in orange clothing as they walk towards the banks. This is indeed quite a sight considering we are in the middle of a global pandemic with a swift moving virus. Hundreds with no regard for preventive measures stroll through the area of commerce in one of the largest festivals of the Hindus. The Maha Kumbh Mela is celebrated once every 12 years on the banks of the Holy River Ganges. Thousands of Hindu devotees await this festival and it is evident in the thousands gathered here in Haridwar.
