Celebrating the divine architect of the world! Statue artists paint away in a flurry, as it's down to the wire in terms of the festival date for Vishwakarma Puja! They use all sorts of garrish colours, probably with lead and chromium and other metals in them... There seem to be no standards or rules in this regard, thus possibly causing much environmental damage . Vishwakarma Jayanti is a day of celebration for Vishwakarma, a Hindu god, the divine architect. He is considered as swayambhu and creator of the world.
