Omak Komut Collective from Arunachal Pradesh performs in Delhi during ' Songs & dances of the North East' (SDNE Fiesta). Omak Komut Collective was formed in the summer of 2007, when like minded musicians came together in an effort to preserve the rich oral tradition of the Adi tribe of the Abotani community in Arunachal Pradesh. “Songs & dances of the North East” (SDNE Fiesta) is a cultural festival presented by the Government of Meghalaya and sponsored by the North Eastern Council. It is organized to showcase the rich vibrant, cultural ethnicity and diversity of North East India. This festival takes North East and its heritage outside North East and to the world.
