Endangered Indian Wild Ass (Equus hemionus khur) skipping on the arid terrain of the Little Rann of Kutch, their only sanctuary in India. Males and females with juveniles skipping in uniformity with the backdrop of Prosopis juliflora growth which is their main diet. The Wild Indian Horses are locally known as Ghudkhur and inhabit saline deserts like Rann and grasslands and bigger than donkeys. Their population decrease has been attributed to their proneness to diseases and habitat loss due to encroachment.
