The rejuvenated Hotel Pedling is stylishly decorated in muted tones with comfy beds, though the bathrooms seem to have been slapped together a bit too quickly and without much skill. The pleasant staff are a great asset, as is the excellent breakfast set-up with an eggs-to-order chef typical of more expensive hotels. The hotel is owned by Gangte Monastery and often gets visiting Buddhist groups.
