Despite the archaic nature of the vehicles on the road - old diesel buses, Hindustan Ambassadors cars and the rest, the video is remarkably only from the year 2007 and not older, as one might have guessed. One sharp-eye viewer points out to us that the blue bus at 1:12 has the year 2007 written behind it! Kolkata has an extensive network of government run and privately run buses. The ticketing system is not centralized one and one has to purchase separate tickets for buses, metros, trams and trains.
