In a clear case of human - wild animal conflict, this trio of rare and wild Asiatic Lions (Pathera leo persica) is chased off their cow kill by the farmers who owned the cow. The lions are sitting near a village track and eating the cow, but the farmers walk right up to them and chase it off, depriving them of their meal. They could instead have asked the Forest department for compensation and allowed the lions to consume their kill.
