Giant Carpenter Bee (Xylocopa spp.) and Robber Fly (Pogonosoma genus) gather nectar and pollen from a bright a Loofah (Luffa or Sponge Gourd) flower in a close-up wildlife scene. The solitary bee features a glossy jet-black exoskeleton and powerful wings with a dark metallic sheen, distinguishing it from typical honey bees. Its robust body repeatedly dives deep into the flower's centre to access nectar and pollen resources. After feeding, the bee briefly leaves the blossom before returning multiple times to continue foraging.
