Hotel security in India was stepped up following the Taj Hotel terrorist attacks in Mumbai. Notice the security guards checking the dickey, under-carriage and insides of the cars entering the Claridges Hotel in New Delhi. The three vertical metal barriers also go up each time a car has been allowed in and until the next one has been security cleared.
