A 62-year-old farmer reportedly died of shock after seeing his standing crop ruined by the heavy rain. However, the district administration denied the claims saying the deceased was suffering from a lung ailment and his death was due to the prolonged illness. Rhaishpal Singh, resident of Naipai village under the jurisdiction of Ramgarh police station, lived with his wife in a hut on his farm where he had grown millet. His wife claimed that after a spell of rain on Sunday his crop was totally destroyed and he could not withstand the shock and died. He was the sole bread winner in his family and is only daughter is married. When contacted, Firozabad tehsildar Jeet Singh Rai said, "The deceased was cremated without any postmortem examination, but we conducted an inquiry to find out the nature
