Raja Maheshwar Singh speaks about the differences between Delhi and Kullu. He says : 'It is a fact that the local people are very simple as compared to other cities like Delhi and big mega cities.' The other difference is that people in Kullu have a lot of faith in gods and goddesses. Sometimes when the villagers get ill they go to the gods and goddesses and pray to get cured and it is their believe that it is cured. So this belief is not possible to find elsewhere. This is the reason the area is known as Valley of gods.
