The Leh Airport is also known as Kushok Bakula Rimpochee airport is one of the airports situated at the highest altitude in the entire world as it is located at an altitude of 3,256 m above sea level. It is a domestic airport named after the esteemed Kushok Bakula Rinpoche, whose 19th Incarnation was an important Indian and Ladakhi Statesman.
