Thai dancers perform an Indian classical fusion at Surajkund Mela 2019. A splash of colours, rhythm of drum beats and joy de-vivre merge at Surajkund in Faridabad, Haryana during the first fortnight of each February. The curtains went up on the acclaimed annual Surajkund International Crafts Mela on 2nd February, a celebration of Indian folk traditions and cultural heritage. The brainchild of Haryana Tourism, this mela was established to promote the pool of skilled artisans from the well known as well as remote regions of the country and save our cultural heritage from extinction due to the cheaper machine-made imitations Folk performances of the Theme State can be seen throughout the festival along with few Thai performances as the art and crafts of Thailand were also on display at the me
