Organized by Karam Puri, an awareness campaign on cleanliness and garbage disposal was held around Mussoorie. In the words or Mr. Puri: "Over the past 4 drives we have collected over 1.5 tons of garbage just between Bataghat, Jabarkhet the road leading to the back gate of Woodstock and down the Fern Oaks Road to Farkala. Our numbers have steadily grown over the past 4 drives. This is a purely community driven initiative to help clean up Landour. With the support of our Ward Representative, Vishal Kharola, residents, students, business owners and Woodstock School staff, we are a group of concerned citizens who are tired of seeing our pristine hillsides littered with garbage. We have organized a clean up drive every 2 weeks and are about to commence our 5th one next Sunday, August 24th. We w
