Maruti Suzuki launched its new entry-level compact car Alto. Alto is available in two power options which are 800 and 1000cc and costs between 3 - 3.45 lakhs. Jagdish Khattar, Managing Director of Maruti Suzuki launched Alto in New Delhi. "This is a new contemporary car from Maruti Suzuki. We have taken care of looks, style, power, comfort and cost and introduced 800cc into the Indian market. " The most important thing about Alto is 70% parts of the car is produced in India.
