The music of Pardes will be an all-time history in the Hindi film industry." Indian music director duo in Bollywood consisting of Nadeem Saifi and Shravan Rathod, noted as most successful Bollywood music directors of the 1990s until the early 2000s with a strong reliance of Hindustani music in their compositions. Their success helped establish the label T-Series. The duo's career paused with the murder of T-Series founder Gulshan Kumar in August 1997 by Mumbai underworld syndicate D-Company, with Nadeem Saifi initially accused of involvement.
