A mounted parade performed by the PBG, or the President's Bodyguards in a ceremony that marks the 240th anniversary of their service to the President of India. The oldest regiment of the Indian Army, the PBG have been conferred with the distinction to carry the President's trumpet and the trumpet banner. Every President has to present the Trumpet and the Banner with the Ashoka Lions and the initials of the President. The ceremony customarily includes a mounted parade, followed by an Audio Video Show on the significance of the Silver Trumpet and Trumpet Banner and the history of PBG. A showcase of equestrian skills and a musical ride are also performed by the PBG as a part of the ceremony.
