For the first time, Mauritius Independence Day was celebrated in Shanghai on 12th March at LarkHill with the presence of diplomats & Government officials of Shanghai. Mauritian Chinese, Jean Paul (Jp LAM) , director of O-Marketing was the organizer of this meaningful celebration. His Excellency Mr Paul Chong Leung, the Ambassador of Republic of Mauritius from Beijing was present and had made a special speech for this occasion. Around 180 people including Consul Generals and representatives from different countries (Germany, Spain, Greece, European Unions, Argentina ...), representative from MTPA, representative from Air Mauritius and medias were also present.
