A family of Hoolock Gibbon goes from tree to tree in a forest in Assam. They are the only apes of India and are found mainly in the north east region. They are the fastest and nonflying arboreal animals. They are tailless and can walk using their forelimbs for balance. They move at great speed from tree to tree using their limbs and spend most of their time on trees.
