in a video interview a member of ramleela commttee speak about ramleela "The Ramleela performances in Prayagraj were not being conducted at the standard they were expected to achieve. The committee has made efforts to raise that standard. What you are seeing now is the successful organization of that effort. Through the use of sound and lighting, the Ramleela is being presented in a new and effective way, which has proven to be a successful experiment. Innovation has been introduced in the Ramdal (the group of performers), and the chowkis (tableaux or performance segments) that come out here are very attractive and highly artistic.
