This footage captures the remarkable nesting behavior of the Olive Ridley sea turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea) as it comes ashore on the beaches of Odisha (Orissa) to dig a burrow and lay eggs. These turtles undertake long oceanic journeys, returning to India’s eastern coastline for nesting, often during the famous arribada season when thousands arrive together.
