Maramfest is an annual music and cultural festival in Maram Centre, Manipur, founded by John Hinkung who is also the founder of Sevendiary.com. Maramfest started in the year 2009 and since then there has been no looking back. This year, Maramfest was held on December 12 at Senapati (Tamhamzam), Manipur. The only difference being that it was the first ever international concert for people residing in a small hilly district headquarters of Senapati. Two British metal bands Xerath and Bloodshot Dawn headlined the festival, along with supporting acts such as Recycle from Imphal, Manipur and various artists. Prior to hitting the Maramfest 2012, Xerath and Bloodshot Dawn also performed at the first ever Kohima Metal Fest in Kohima on December 10 at the aftermath of Nagaland Hornbill Festival. S
