The golden langur, a charismatic primate species conspicuous by its lustrous creamy-golden fur and found only in few forest patches of India and Bhutan. It has been listed in the “World’s 25 Most Endangered Primates” during an international conservation conclave. Gee's golden langur, or simply the golden langur, is an Old World monkey found in a small region of western Assam, India and in the neighbouring foothills of the Black Mountains of Bhutan.
