Umling gewog is one of the huge villages between Chuzagang Geog and Gelephu. It is one hour of walking to reach the main Gelephu town (33 Kilometres ). with the advance of the technology, the mode of transportation can be by a bus, taxis, trucks and even your personal car through a black top road in the village. The village has good BHU government hospital and school that are absolutely free for the citizen of Bhutan. In fact, the student is provided with 2 meals per day. ie: Breakfast and Lunch. Gup is the head of the village and the Geog is administratively headed by Gelephu Dungkhag and subsequently by Sarpang Dzongkhag. There are many villages in the same gewog and are namely: Chhuborthang, Daangling, Doongmin, Gaden, Lingar, Rijoog, Tashithang and Thongjazor and was merged into five C
