Lots of people along the bank of Yamuna river carrying the colorful clay statues of Durga and immersing them. People are using hydraulic crane for immersion of Durga idol as the idol is gigantic in size. There are boats, waste, pollution and idol in Yamuna river. As Durga Puja and Dussehra festivities ends, rivers and lakes becomes more polluted with immersion of idols. As the idols are made using plaster of Paris and coated with harmful paints containing heavy metals that harm the environment.
