Yimchungru tribe performed an item of Millet harvesting during the Hornbill Festival at Naga Heriatge village, Nagaland. The Yimchungrua believe that each male has six souls and each woman has five. Metum-Neo celebrated during the month of August is one festival of the tribe that is celebrated with great festivity for five days. If Metum-Neo has an added zing, it is believed the cause is because of the extra soul Yimchungru person carries. Other than seeking prosperity, it is the time to erase enmity and foster friendship through a series of sporting activities, exchanging gifts, community feasting, drowning in rice beer and singing and dancing as if three;s no tomorrow. As winter slowly penetrates the hilly state of Nagaland, in North East India, a festive mood seeps into the valleys. The
