Pyarelal Sharma discusses the music of the film Bobby and the creative decisions behind specific songs. He explains that a track like “Akhiyon Ko Rehne De” had roots in Punjabi folk, but he initially advised against using it due to character context, as the role was Goan Christian. Despite this, part of the song was retained in the film in a limited form. He also recalls recording with Reshma, noting the time and effort required to adapt her style for a composed piece rather than pure folk. He credits the composition entirely to the duo Laxmikant–Pyarelal, emphasising that it was not derived from Pakistani folk.
