With drums, chanting and much religious festivity, the birth of Lord Krishna is celebrated in India. at the Jagannath temple in New Delhi. Note the dominance of men in this fathering, with virtually no women present. The Indian festival around the birth of the Indian god Krishna. Incense smoke rises up from a Delhi temple where the occasion is being celebrated and Krishn bhagwan is being worshipped by Hindus. Women, men and children accompany the Janmashtami procession as it makes its way to the temple, organized as a Maha Shobha Yathra by the Vrindavanam Balagokulam. Little kids are dressed up as Krishnas in the making, with elaborate headgear and face paint., attire, peacock feathers and carrying flutes. This took place on 19th August 2022.
