The streets and alleys of Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh is filled with patrolling policemen before and after the abri Masjid Demolition in December 1992. Out of fear of escalated communal tensions, policemen are stationed in the nook and corners of the city but to little avail. A man in crutches approaches to the police to allow him to go to a temple. The police try to persuade him to go back which did not go down well with him and he is seen on the road pleading fervently.
