Deepika Padukone: 'I was really nervous working in the film but Shahrukh and Farah Khan always make me feel comfortable, whenever I get too nervous, Farah and Shahrukh helped me, whether in difficult scene or any difficult dialogues. But Farah was very clear with what she wanted for the role, Manish Malhotra did all the looks and fitting for my role and we were well prepared before we started the shoot. We did not copy any specific actresses in 70s, I think Farah knew that I had a classic Indian feature look. To play the character, 'Shanti', who is a 70s famous artist, I look up for the movies of Hema Malini, Madhubala, or Vyjayanthimala'.
