As the vehicle of choice for Indian politicians of the day, Atal Bihari Vajpayee arrives in Hindustan Ambassador white car for Air Force Day parade. He is greeted by LK Advani and George Fernandes, among other politicians, most of them in kurta pyjama outfits and carrying sycophantic bouquets to gift to the PM. The flowers are simply passed back to the staff and thrown to a site in a pile. Mr. Vajpayee clearly has no time to deal with flower arrangements of staid gladiulus. "Bharat aage badh raha hain!
