The hand-painted wooden peepshow box features gold-coloured borders, painted flowers, carved patterns, and round metal viewing holes. Children crouch around the box and look through the peepholes while the showman operates the display, with parents and other visitors watching nearby. Traditional bioscopes were travelling peepshow boxes that allowed viewers to see sequences of pictures through small openings, often accompanied by narration. The footage captures this older form of Indian street entertainment being presented at a modern crafts and cultural fair.
