Soni, said, "As many as eight people, including a woman, were injured in the massive fire, which broke out at the rubber factory in Partapur. Four fire tenders rushed to the spot soon after fire officials received information in this regard. It took them more than an hour to douse the fire. Many workers were stuck in the family but luckily they were saved." The fire was caused when gases developed in a drum of chemical used in the factory after coming into contact with a boiler. Four fire tenders were pressed into service and the firefighting staff took more than an hour to douse the leaping flames.
