A poultry transfer takes place on a roadside near Roorkee in Uttar Pradesh, India. The poultry owner Akram tells us how to look after his desi murghi birds - a variety of indigenous poultry that can be traced back to the wild Red Junglefowl of sub-Himalayan forests. He punctures holes in Amazon delivery boxes for the chickens to be transported to our farm in Delhi, and instructs us on how to identify if the chickens ever get worms.
