Uttar Pradesh Police authorized a special unit of officers to work against eve-teasing which is called the anti-romeo squad. The squad was constituted after formation of the Adityanath government. Public places, schools, parks, bus stations, malls, markets were checked by the 'anti-Romeo squads'.
