People buy sweets and gifts for home during the diwali season at Evergreen Sweet Shop. This is old archival footage. Diwali in India is celebrated as Festival of Lights and people do a lot of shopping before Diwali. Indian families from all sections of the society take this opportunity to shop for clothes, jewelry, electronics and other things they have had on their mind for a while. Markets are flooded with household items, Kitchenware, home decor etc. Shopkeepers decorate their shops to attract more customers.
