Several bamboo genus on display on Mizoram Bamboo Day in Aizawl. Bamboo is considered God-gifted green gold, found in abundance in the length and bread of Mizoram. This was observed which basically aims at harnessing the state's rich bamboo resources by promoting bamboo-based local industries. Besides local entrepreneurs, Sikkim Bamboo Mission and Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency also displayed their bamboo products on 20 stalls at the exhibition. Handicraft centre under the state's industries department also performed live demonstration on Mizo cane works.
