New Delhi city has had its Chief Minister in jail for six months. Meanwhile, the civic and public infrastructure has crumbled! See these holy cows eating plastic to fill their stomachs, from open refuse and garbage on the streets of New Delhi, in Fatehpur Beri village. Is this the plastic recycling we had in mind? Cows walk among the burning and smouldering waste and garbage and crows peck at food remnants. With the open garbage being set fire to, in order to reduce its quantity, and setting off carcinogenic fumes and worse into our already terrible air quality, this is how much of New Delhi deals with garbage and waste management!
