In this old interview footage, Himesh Reshammiya speaks about his experience working on the 2007 film Namaste London and the creative process behind its music. He describes the movie as a blend of eastern and western sensibilities, much like a musical fusion that brings together two cultures in a seamless way. Himesh shares that it was his first time collaborating with Javed Akhtar, a partnership he had long hoped for. He expresses gratitude toward Javed, mentioning that he feels thankful that such an accomplished lyricist agreed to work with him. Himesh highlights that Javed Akhtar had certain expectations from the music, and he felt proud that the compositions were able to meet that standard.
