Not an inch of ground is left unused in Bombay, India. The cost of real estate is so high that the opportunity cost does not allow anyone to let land lie unused. And if it is not owned or government land, then the squatters move in and slums develop. After all this, is Asia's largest slum - Dharavi, which one can see in Mumbai. Tall commercial buildings go cheek-by-jowl with slum tenements in this urban sprawl by the Arabian Sea, in India's commercial capital.
